Heather Wozniak
Product Owner
Heather has been developing websites for almost two decades. Having led numerous site builds and ongoing support teams, she thinks about digital products both strategically and pragmatically. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines and adapting agile methodologies to make products and teams successful.
Before joining OpenScholar, she was a technical strategist at Four Kitchens and Advomatic, where she worked with many nonprofit and higher education clients. Prior to that, she spent nine years creating and managing a web platform at the University of Washington and held positions with UCLA and the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association.
Heather holds BA, MA, and PhD degrees in English from UCLA. She resides just north of Seattle and co-organizes the Seattle Drupal Users Group. When not working, she enjoys eating tacos, running, sprucing up her yard, playing board games, and exploring national parks with her family.
